Address Album 1.3

This program is a replacement for the built in address book. It allows you to store photos in any address book entry. It uses the built in address book database so you dont need to retype anything. Just start adding photos right away.
Photos are added using a simple PC program that allows you to choose JPEG or BMP files and crop them to fit the small size of the Palm screen. Simply choose an address, choose a photo, save, HotSync, and the full color or Grayscale photo is now on your Palm!
You can also beam your address and photo to another Palm with Address Album. Note that color photos can be stored on grayscale Palms - when they are beamed to a color Palm the photo will appear in color! You can also beam a normal address to a Palm without Address Album - it will go to the standard address book (any picture data is truncated).
Important Note: Address Album only works if you HotSync with the standard Palm Desktop. If you synchronise with Outlook or Lotus Notes or another PIM then Address Album will not work. The new Palm Desktop supplied with the Tungsten T|3 (and newer Palms) uses a different address file format and is not supported.
The photos are drawn on the same screen as the address book text. So you can quickly scan through your entries to find a face.
Enhancements:
- Now you can sort your address entries on your Palm by First Name, or Last Name, or Company. The PC program also has the option to lock the aspect ratio of the photo. This will ensure that the photo on the Palm does not look squashed.
