BlackBerry Database Viewer 1.4 offers an effective tool which helps you to view any desktop database on BlackBerry Device.
BlackBerry Database Viewer will help you to view the contents of your desktop databases like MS Access, FoxPro, dBase, Excel and any ODBC Compliant Database like Oracle, SQL Server on BlackBerry through the USB cable.
It has two components: One works on Microsoft Windows based Computer (i.e. desktop side) and other on BlackBerry handheld (i.e. device side). This device side application is also referred as BlackBerry Database Viewer. Use the Windows program to transfer your database tables to USB cable connected BlackBerry device.
User Guide:
- Click on Browse button to select a database. Select Microsoft Access, Excel, DBF, or any database of your choice. You can Select DSN from the popup list. The software displays tables as shown.
- When you open the BlackBerry Database Viewer, either it will be ready for importing database from the desktop, or you will get a list of databases, which have already transferred using the desktop side application using the USB cable. Select the Open menu option to open and view the selected database contents. Select Design View menu option to know more about selected database like name of database, total number of records and fields in it. You can use Delete menu option to delete selected database.
- You can view all records at once by selecting the Grid View or Open, depending on the default view setting menu option.
- You can also view one record at a time by selecting the Record View or Open, depending on the default view setting menu option.
- You can change the default settings like date, time formats, view mode, etc. by selecting the Preferences menu option from the home screen of this application.
